The government has decided to adjust the quarantine period for foreign travelers (PPLN). This is stated in the Decree of the Chairperson of the Covid-19 Handling Task Force Number 2 of 2022 concerning Entry Points, Quarantine Places, and PCR Obligations for Indonesian Citizens Traveling Overseas.
This decision replaces the Circular (SE) of the Covid-19 Handling Task Force Number 1 of 2022 concerning Health Protocols for Overseas Travel during the Corona Virus Disease 2019 (Covid-19) Pandemic.
Indonesian citizens (WNI) who travel abroad (PPLN) are required to quarantine for a period of time from the old rule of 14 days to 10 days according to the new rules of the country or region of origin of arrival with the following criteria:
Meanwhile, the quarantine period with a period of ๐๐ ๐๐๐ฒ๐ฌ ๐ข๐ฌ ๐๐ก๐๐ง๐ ๐๐ ๐ญ๐จ ๐ ๐๐๐ฒ๐ฌ from the country or region of origin of arrival other than countries that meet the criteria.
In the regulation, the 14 countries referred to are South Africa, Botswana, Norway, France, Angola, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Eswatini, Lesotho, England and Denmark.
