The Government Announced the Extension of the PPKM
The increase in corona cases makes the government announced the extension of the PPKM in Indonesia. Several regions of Indonesia have become red zones for the spread of the coronavirus. In the last few weeks there has been a significant increase in positive cases of the corona virus, which has made the government have to take the decision to close the door to foreign tourists and impose PPKM.
The Government Announced the Extension of the PPKM and the closing of borders for foreigners until February 8 2021. For now, The current VISA offshore application is not available until further notification. For expiring KITAS and KITAP holders currently residing overseas, can extend their KITAS or KITAP by online application at https://izintimpa-online.imigration.go.id.
There is no official information when borders will reopen. For now, the government only serves VISA extensions for foreigners residing in Bali.
