The newest update of the procedures and protocols at Indonesian Airport

Since May, there has been a new regulation from Immigration regarding the arrival of international passengers entering Indonesia. Whether passengers are Indonesian citizens or foreigners, all must comply with these 9 mandatory procedures .

Reported from the official Instagram account @ditjen_imigration, the Air Task Force for Handling Covid-19 and PT. Angkasa Pura set 9 checkpoints to tighten the implementation of health protocols. Also included is the process of going to quarantine at the places that have been determined. The following are 9 procedures for the arrival of passengers from abroad who enter Indonesia through the entrance of Soekarno Hatta Airport as below details : 

1. Filling your personal details and flights details trough hore V2 application

The Passengers must fill in complete personal data along with flight data through the HORE V2 (Hotel Reservation Version 2) application at the international arrivals area. Passengers can also go to the machine counter that has been provided to fill in this data. In the HORE application, the complete flight plan and number of international passengers, as well as Covid-19 quarantine procedures, include the number of available quarantine rooms.

2. Checking your medical document by the officially of Indonesian Health team ( KKP KEMENKES )

This second checkpoint  is carried out by the Ministry of Health’s Port Health Office (KKP) officers. In this session, the quarantine location will also be determined, whether at Wisma Atlet Pademangan or at a hotel location that has been determined by the Ministry of Health.

3. The Passengers will be divided based on the quarantine locations details

At this third checkpoint, data will be collected regarding the quarantine location that will be carried out by passengers.

4. The Passengers doing the Immigration process

At the fourth checkpoint, passengers will undergo a complete and traceable immigration process.

5. The Passengers taking the luggages at the luggages area.

Only after the immigration process has been completed, passengers can collect their baggage in the available baggage claim area.

6. The passengers doing the customs and excise checking

After the baggage is in hand, the passenger must go through the customs process in accordance with the applicable regulations.

7. Checking personal data and quarantine location by the Airport police officers

At the seventh check point, passengers will be asked to register at the hotel help desk for the quarantine process. In this process, passengers must pass through a predetermined path, which is given a strict barrier.

9. The passengers will be picked up by the special bus to the quarantine location.
