Internship Visa
The Internship Visa is referred to foreign nationals who intend to undertake an internship at an Indonesian company. A company internship is issued for a person who conducts an internship in Indonesia to develop skills and talent. There are two types of visas for Internships Visa C22A and Visa C22B. These kinds of visas have a limited stay of up to 180 days or six months and are extendable. The Internship Visa C22A is for students who must approved by their school or university to work as an intern in an Indonesian company, and the Internship Visa C22B is for the person who has graduated from your university or academy and works as an intern to gain experience.
Foreigners can use this VISA for:
- Carry out activities related to internship to develop skill and talent at the company, office, or workplace.
- Conducting activities related to travel, and visiting friends or family.
The Visa has become an option for foreigners who plan to stay in Indonesia for internship purposes. However, there are several things you cannot do with this visa, namely earning income. Later, if you intend to work in the Indonesian company and earn income, the Immigration issues a special visa for those of you who plan to work in Indonesia, which is called a Working KITAS.
Documents Required From Applicant
- Passport valid for at least 6 (six) months.
- Personal bank statement with minimum amount USD $2000 or equivalent the last 3 months period (including name, date of period, and balance account).
- Latest color photograph.
- Proof of guarantee from the guarantor.
- Internship contract or statement from government agency or private institution as the host of the internship program.

- Username and Password of VISA ONLINE application (if any).
- Company Letterhead
- Latest Company Bank Statement (Rekening Koran) min. balance equal to USD 10,000.
- Color scan of Notary Act of Company Establishment (Akta Notaris Pendirian Perusahaan) and any Following / Notary Act Change (Akta Notaris Perubahan) – if any.
- Color scan of Legalization of Notary Act Company Establishment (Pengesahan Akta Notaris dari Kemenkumham) and the Following / Change if any.
- Color scan of Tax Identification Number Card (NPWP)
- Color scan of Company Domicile (Surat Domisili/ Surat Keterangan Tempat Usaha (SKTU)).

- Color scan of Company Register Number (Nomor Induk Berusaha – NIB) from OSS
