VOA (Visa on Arrival) Extension

Visa on Arrival (VOA) extension is a service offered to VOA holders who wish to extend their stay from previously only 30 days to 60 days. Extending your visa allows you to maximize all your activities, whether it’s traveling, visiting family, exhibitions, etc.

In responding to requests from tourists who need a visa with a long stay and low-cost application, Indonesian Immigration provides a Visa on Arrival extension service. With the ease of the visa on arrival extension process, you can enjoy your time in Indonesia longer.

Foreigners can use this VISA for:

  1. Visiting family or friends that residing in Indonesia
  2. Attending exhibitions or events as an attendee 


Visa on Arrival extension will grant you 30 more days to stay in Indonesia. You will get 60 days of stay in one VOA application, however, if you need a longer stay period visa for up to 6 months, a Single Entry Tourist Visa will be a better choice.

Documents Required from Applicant

  1. Physical passport 
  2. Return ticket 
  3. Boarding pass/flight ticket to Indonesia


*For those who travel with children, must also prepare the following: 

  1. Birth certificate (under 18 years old)
  2. Marriage certificate (If Any)

Steps to get your VOA Extension

  1. Prepare your passport, return flight ticket & boarding pass/flight ticket to Indonesia
  2. Send all documents to E-Visa Bali or you can use our free pickup document service for an easier process.
  3. Our consultant will assist you through the extension process. 
  4. After your E-VOA/VOA extension is completed our consultant will inform you and you can enjoy your stay.

  7. Immigration Headquarter office and Indonesian Immigration online VISA app are open from Monday – Friday and service time is from 08.00 – 15.00, except for National Holidays. 
  8. Customers shall comply with the VISA they have during their visit/ stay in Indonesia. 
  9. Any problems and costs arising due to VISA violation is not our responsibility. 
  10. Any rejection or any unsuccessful Visa Application due to change of government regulation is not our responsibility and VISA payment is non-refundable.

VOA Extension Frequently Ask Question

E-VOA is work prohibited, working in Indonesia with this visa is a violation of the immigration laws, with the worst-case scenario being deported and unable to enter Indonesian territory for a certain duration of time.

E-VOA can be extended once during your stay without leaving Indonesian territory. However, if you need to continue using this visa to stay in Indonesia, you must  leave Indonesia and return after applying the new E-VOA to continue using this visa to stay in Indonesia.
