Visa on Arrival in Bali Now Valid for 42 Countries, Here Is the List
Stakeholder Relation Manager PT Angkasa Pura I, Taufan Yudhistira reported that international visitors coming to Bali from Ngurah Rai International Airport had reached over 18.569 from March 1-31 2022. Foreign tourists are more inclined to go for a trip to Bali due to the ease of facility, Visa on Arrival, and self quarantine free campaign that has been on the run since March 7, 2022.
Visa on Arrival in Bali Sparks Optimism in the Local Tourism Industry
In a Weekly Press Briefing by Indonesia’s Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, it is taken that VoA contributes prominently to the growth of tourist visits to Bali compared to e-visa. The facility has been favorably used by many countries especially Australia, Singapore, the United States, France, and Great Britain. The positive impact, so far, has not created new spikes of COVID-19 cases.
42 Countries Now Valid to Enjoy Visa on Arrival in Bali
Visa on Arrival in Bali began with 23 countries at first (see details in Bali Reactivates Visa on Arrival for 23 Countries This March) Since March 22, 2022, the eligibility of VoA is now accessible to 42 countries. Furthermore, you can now receive Visa on Arrival in Bali through entrances at Ngurah Rai Bali Airport or Benoa Seaport.
The countries include Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Brunei Darussalam, Denmark, Cambodia, Canada, China, Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain, Hungary, India, Italy, Japan, Laos, Malaysia, Mexico, Myanmar, Netherland, New Zealand, Norway, Philippines, Poland, Qatar, Saudi Arabisa, Seychelles, Singapore, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Swedia, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Tunisia, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, United States of America, and Vietnam.
VoA is on schedule to be implemented in other airports in Indonesia.
Requirements to Apply for Visa on Arrival in Bali
Please see these requirements below to receive a visa on arrival in Bali:
- Show your health documents (print out and digital proofs of negative PCR test result that is valid 2×24 hours the time you took the test prior to departure to Indonesia, COVID-19 vaccine certificate). It is obligatory for you to perform another PCR test once you arrive in Indonesia.
- Download and install Peduli Lindungi Application on your preferred mobile device. Register and fill in the health alert card (e-HAC) in the application.
- Passport (from the entry date, it is still valid for 6 months)
- Your departure ticket from Indonesia
- At least 25.000 USD worth of insurance
- Hotel booking receipt
- The fee for VoA is Rp500.000
*Keep in mind that not getting vaccinated or just receiving 1 dose of vaccine means a mandatory quarantine for 5×24 hours in Indonesia’s certified hotel by the government. Your insurance will responsible for the total cost of COVID-19 treatment in the country. Another PCR test will be carried out on the fourth day.
