How Do You Get A Working Holiday Visa in Indonesia?
To get a working holiday visa, you must first check your country’s immigration policy and see if you are eligible to apply for the visa as well as which country can you go to for this visa.

First of all, the Directorate General of Immigration of Indonesia provides the immigration service to process application for a working holiday request in Indonesia.
However, this visa is currently only available for people who holds an Australian passport aging between 18 to 30 years old.
If you are eligible and have successfully applied for this visa, the Indonesian working holiday visa is valid for up to 1 year of stay where you can use it for any educational, tourism, health care, social, sports and cultural activities in the country.
Some of the requirement to apply for a working holiday visa to Indonesia may include:
- A guarantee letter from a guarantor;
- Letter of recommendation from the collaborating Immigration agency;
- Education certificate from a higher education institution or equivalent for graduates or a certificate confirming active student status for a minimum of 2 years, accompanied by a student identification card from their university;
- Tickets for flight from origin country to Indonesia and return flight, or proof of ownership of money equivalent to the price of the tickets;
- A valid passport which is still valid for at least 18 months;
- Proof of having living expenses for the person requesting the visa while in the Indonesian Territory at minimum equal to 5000 Australian dollars; and
- 2 pieces of 4 cm x 6 cm color photographs of the visa requester with a white background.
Payment for an Indonesian working holiday visa may cost more or less 250 Australian dollars to pay for your visa approval, limited stay visa, limited stay permit, and re-entry permit depending on the length of stay that is granted.
