Remote work doesn’t require that you always come to the office. You can do it from home, café, restaurant, coworking space, outside the city, or even overseas. A number of public service offices have begun to close. One of them is the Class I Immigration Office for TPI Ngurah Rai. It was announced through the official Instagram account of Ngurah Rai Immigration Office @imngurahrai this morning, that they will be closed from 26 January to 29 January 2021. The temporary closure of the immigration service aims to help prevent the spread of COVID 19 which increased over the last few weeks in Bali. Services will reopen on Monday, February 1, 2021. In the announcement, it is stated that foreign citizens (WNA) who hold a residence permit whose validity period ends on January 26-31, 2021 can contact the contact number 081236956667. Or by using Whatsapp chat from 08.00 WIB to 16.00 WIB at the latest one day before the residence permit period ends. It is hoped that on the reopening date of the Ngurah Rai Immigration, conditions have improved and the number of Corona Virus victims can be suppressed. Several regions of Indonesia have become red zones for the spread of the coronavirus. In the last few weeks there has been a significant increase in positive cases of the corona virus, which has made the government have to take the decision to close the door to foreign tourists and impose PPKM. The Government Announced the Extension of the PPKM and the closing of borders for foreigners until February 8 2021. For now, The current VISA offshore application is not available until further notification. For expiring KITAS and KITAP holders currently residing overseas, can extend their KITAS or KITAP by online application at https://izintimpa-online.imigration.go.id. There is no official information when borders will reopen. For now, the government only serves VISA extensions for foreigners residing in Bali.
