Jakarta – The government has officially changed the quarantine rules for people entering Indonesia. Recipients of the complete dose of vaccine may only be quarantined for 3 days, the rest must be 5 days. The latest rules are in the Addendum to Circular Letter Number 20/2021 concerning International Travel Health Protocols during the Covid-19 Pandemic Period.This new rule was issued by the Covid-19 Task Force on November 2, 2021.
All Indonesian citizens/foreigners entering Indonesia must undergo RT PCR retest and undergo quarantine. The following are the differences in the rules for Indonesian citizens/foreigners who have had 1 dose of vaccine and 2 doses of vaccine.
All International Travelers, both Indonesian Citizens (WNI) and Foreign Citizens (WNA) must comply with the following conditions/requirements:
Heads of foreign representatives and their families serving in Indonesia can self-quarantine at their respective residences for 5 x 24 hours for international travelers who have just received the first dose of vaccine or for 3 x 24 hours for international travelers who have received the full dose of vaccine.
