Short Course Visa

The Short Course Visa is intended for foreign nationals who wish to participate in short-term educational, professional, or skills development programs in Indonesia. This visa is suitable for individuals attending training courses, workshops, certifications, language programs, or other non-degree educational activities provided by an authorized institution or organization.

The Directorate General of Immigration may grant a stay period of up to 180 days, depending on the approved visa type. This visa can be extended in accordance with applicable regulations. As a Single Entry Visa, holders may not leave and re-enter Indonesia using the same visa. If you exit Indonesia, a new visa application will be required.

Foreigners can use this VISA for: 

1. Conducting activities related to benchmarking activity, short course, or short training program.
2. Conducting activities related to tourism, and visiting friends or family.

The Short Course Visa is an ideal option for foreigners who wish to participate in short-term educational or training programs in Indonesia. This visa is intended for activities such as professional training, workshops, certification programs, language courses, and other skill-development programs.

Please note that the Short Course Visa does not permit holders to engage in employment or earn income in Indonesia. If your purpose changes to working for an Indonesian company and receiving a salary, you will need to obtain the appropriate work authorization and stay permit.

Documents Required From Applicant

1. Passport valid for at least 6 (six) months (for holders of travel documents other than passports such as emergency passports, documents of identity, etc. must be valid for 12 months).
2. Personal bank statement with minimum amount USD $2000 or equivalent the last 3 months period (including name, date of period, and balance account).
3. A recent color photograph.
4. Proof of guarantee from the guarantor
5. Proof of registration or certificate as a participant in benchmarking activity, short courses, or short training program from government agency or private institution.

1. Username and Password of VISA ONLINE application (if any).
2. Company Letterhead
3. Latest Company Bank Statement (Rekening Koran) min. balance equal to USD 10,000.
4. Color scan of Notary Act of Company Establishment (Akta Notaris Pendirian Perusahaan) and any Following / Notary Act Change (Akta Notaris Perubahan) – if any.
5. Color scan of Legalization of Notary Act Company Establishment (Pengesahan Akta Notaris dari Kemenkumham) and the Following / Change if any.
6. Color scan of Tax Identification Number Card (NPWP)
7. Color scan of Company Domicile (Surat Domisili/ Surat Keterangan Tempat Usaha (SKTU)).
