Remote working is a term given to someone who works remotely. Remote work doesn’t require that you always come to the office. You can do it from home, café, restaurant, coworking space, outside the city, or even overseas. Remote working has become a new habit in Indonesia and has been known since the spread of the coronavirus
March 2020 Indonesia confirmed its first corona case. The government has started to enforce the PSBB to prevent the spread of the virus while focusing on educating the public. Government asks people to work from home and since then people are getting to know the term remote working.
This trend has been practiced for a long time abroad. But it is new in Indonesia. Many overseas companies let their employees work remotely. Apart from being considered efficient, working remotely has also proven to improve employee performance.
In Bali, remote workers can be found in tourist areas such as Sanur, Canggu, Kuta, Ubud, and Kerobokan. The large number of facilities provided for remote workers makes Bali one of the destinations for remote workers for a working holiday.
